10 most anticipated movies of 2017

Happy New Year, everyone!

00

Last year was really good for movie fans. We could watch great blockbuster movies, like Arrival, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, or not that huge productions, but still pretty good Moonlight, Pet or Wiener-Dog.

Of course it might be difficult to watch all movies which will come out in 2017. Every year we choose a few films we really want to see. I choose 10 movies which I really can’t wait to watch.

Stronger

I want to watch this movie because of two names: Tatiana Maslany and Jake Gyllenhaal.
The film will tell a story of a victim of the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, who helps the police track down the killers while struggling to recover from devastating trauma.

Split

Film directed by Manoj Nelliyattu Shyamalan. Yeah the same one, who made The Sixth Sense, Signs and The Visit. After three girls are kidnapped by a man with 24 dual personalities they must find some of the different personalities that can help them while running away and staying alive from the others. Trailer look really intense. I’m curious how James McAvoy handle with so many characters.

A Street Cat Named Bob

Based on the international best selling book. The true feel good story of how James Bowen, a busker and recovering drug addict, had his life transformed when he met a stray ginger cat.

Ghost in the Shell (March 31)

Based on Masamune Shirow’s manga series and leaning heavily on the 1995 anime classic by director Mamoru Oshii, it’s a cyberpunk fable about the migration of souls to machines, and what that might mean for the future of humanity.

Guardians Of the Galaxy vol. 2 (May 5)

This movie continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.

Star Wars: Episode VIII (December 15)

Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga. Too bad that we had to wait to December.

Beauty and The Beast (March 17)

Well know an adaptation of the Disney fairy-tale about a monstrous prince and a young woman who fall in love.

A Cure for Wellness (February 17)

It stars Dane DeHaan who heads to a mysterious “wellness center” in the Swiss Alps to find the whereabouts of his company’s boss. Soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem.

The Dark Tower (July 28)

Based on Stephen King’s novels. Gunslinger Roland Deschain roams an Old West-like landscape in search of the dark tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world.

Power Rangers

It’ll be like to come back to childhood with this film. When I was a child I was a huge fan of Power Rangers tv show. I can’t wait to watch this movie. It’s also a good time to rewatch the show.
