This movie isn’t typical horror, it’s more a thriller, but with some elements which can scare you. Film directed by Charles and Thomas Guard tells story of Anna, who sees weird things and doesn’t remember what exactly happed with her mother. The idea for this movie isn’t original, this version is a remake of South Korean Janghwa, Hongryeon made in 2003.

9. Mirrors (2008)

Directed by Alexandre Aja. Main character Ben Carson realized that mirrors in his new job aren’t normal. Simple plot, but after you watch this movie I promise you that you’ll be afraid to look in the mirror ever again.

8. Dead Silence (2007)

Mystery, dead and creepy dolls. Movie written and directed by James Wan. This is a story of Jamie, who lost his wife and gets back to his home town to find out what exactly happened to his wife. He’s looking for an answer in old mysterious story.

7. It Follows (2014)

6. The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005)

Movie about a group of friends who decided to play in a prototype video game which is based on the real story of Elizabeth Bathory’s life. Anyone who is killed in the game dies in reality, in similar circumstances. In my opinion, one of the best plots I’ve ever seen in horror movies. It was directed by William Brent Bell.

2. The Omen (1976)
